The Mako Group, a U.S. distributor of tactical equipment and weapon accessories, turned to us to promote the launch of two new products along with their high-end, existing optic sights.
We created a fully integrated campaign that not only launched the R4E Optimized Duty Sight and the FRBS back-up sights, but linked them with Mako’s top-selling optics. The “Animal Campaign” thematically associated all of Mako’s products with the hunting skills of wildlife’s great predators (e.g., vision, quickness, dependability) through print ads, packaging and digital media. Humorous videos and online promotional giveaways were also created to build awareness through social outlets and drive traffic to Mako’s site.
The campaign generated great buzz and press, including coverage in SWAT Magazine and other online trade publications. The humorous videos received over 30,000 views on YouTube, and rave reviews from gun enthusiast bloggers worldwide.
